A blogger recently asked:
...this wonderfully elaborate "test" to see how the universe was created still leaves the blank void of an answer to HOW the matter that caused the so-called "big-bang THEORY" came to be.
The following model proposes mechanics of matter creation before the big bang, effects of vacuum energy imparting mass, momentum and preferred reference frame on matter, mechanics of the big bang, and of matter creation in our universe today. The model is the result of 10 years of deductive work, primarily in the beginning and at the end, based on particle and cosmological observation, and does not require any mechanisms or unlikely events not already known from particle and cosmological observation. While it appears to fit well with reported cosmological observation, it is however still only a working speculation in progress of one person who does this sort of thing only as a hobby.
(background knowledge in order of comprehension and depth from higher to lower: cosmological observation, relativity theory, bohmian quantum mechanics and string theory)
Please comment on or discuss any cosmological or particle observations that tend to invalidate, modify or add to any part of this model.
I will explain this model in story form...

In the beginning (in the pre-big bang universe) there was only the vast vacuum. But this vacuum was not void, it was seething with vacuum energy. This vacuum energy field permeates and defines the universe, an astronomically large sphere [bf: shape contested] of energy. And just as matter generates gravity by accelerating object toward large masses, vacuum energy accelerates matter [away from] its current location in space, and this is the force that defines the size and shape of the universe [bf: discussion below], and also the force that that gives matter inertia by accelerating matter [away in all possible directions, each vector counter balancing the other] from its current location in the vacuum energy gravity field, and defines absolute rotational reference in absolute 3d space.
(vacuum energy gravity and inertial forces. if you accept both Einstein's theory that gravity around massive objects is actually a curvature of space and time accelerating matter toward the massive object, and you accept the presence of vacuum energy, then is easy to imagine very dense vacuum energy generating the same curvature of space and time accelerating matter toward the dense energy (accelerating outwardly in all directions at once, which can be felt as inertial forces, resistance to change in motion). We can then 'feel' vacuum energy gravity when we accelerate in the weightlessness of space, and when we resist the force of Earth's gravity we are experiencing both curvatures (matter gravity accelerating matter downward toward Earth and vacuum energy gravity resisting acceleration forces)... speculation that vacuum energy might flow into black holes.)
(Gravity [warp of space and time based on amount of mass and proximity to same] causes a hammer and feather fall at the same rate in the absence of resistance, vacuum force [warp of space and time based on vacuum energy density] causes matter to accelerate toward its current location, and gives the hammer more momentum than the feather, and can be measured in a gravity field as weight or in weightless space as centrifugal forces when in rotation in absolute 3d space.)
(if you accept Einsteins theory that gravity around massive objects is actually a curvature of space and time that accelerates mass toward the massive object, then is easy to imagine the same curvature of space and time caused by dense vacuum energy that accelerates matter toward the energy, toward the current location of the matter in absolute 3d space, with perhaps magnitudes greater acceleration than that of gravity if the density of vacuum energy is similar to the density of energy in real matter. This force will imparts inertia (mass) on matter. We can then feel the vacuum energy when we accelerate in the weightlessness of space, and when we resist the force of gravity we are experiencing both curvatures [bf: There is only one. jt: one curvature from real matter gravity accelerating toward the mass, one from vacuum energy gravity accelerating toward the current location of the real matter giving inertia to matter] . One might suspect that the density of vacuum energy may be compatible to the energy density of real matter (using e=mc2) to calculate energy from matter), which would imply a balance between real matter and energy, causing real matter to be in balance with vacuum energy, except in the presence of black holes where the black holes gravity might accrete the vacuum energy.)
([bf: It is about 20 times greater than the mean energy density of matter, if I remember the numbers correctly. jt: you mean because vacuum energy engulfs us warping in all directions, where as real matter such as a planet is a single sphere]. [bf: According to everything we know about the universe, it does not have the shape of a sphere. Or do you mean the higher-dimensional equivalent of a sphere? (S^3)] vacuum energy density might be calculated based on acceleration of expansion of the universe, as vacuum energy will be most dense at the center of the universe, the point of the big bang, and progressively less dense as one moves away from the center of the universe. [bf: If you are interested in the development of the vacuum energy density, look at the web pages of WMAP. They have some graphics there.])
(implied is that the universe has a definable size and shape and an absolute frame of reference in 3d space, as the vacuum energy will warp space and time, it is energy gravity, the same force as standard gravity but instead of being limited to a single planet, one can imagine that this force fills the entire void, warping in all directions, and accelerating mass to its current location with such acceleration forces as to create the mass inertia we experience. The vacuum energy should define a spherical shape [bf: the universe can't be a sphere - see the Cosmological Principle. jt: i dont understand, i will research] with a dense center, waves and as the gravity of the energy itself with shape the universe, becoming progressively less dense at the outer edges. This would also help to explain acceleration of the expansion of the universe, as gravitational forces generated by the vacuum energy should be less powerful as real mass moves further from the center more dense region of the universe as defined by the size, and shape and density distribution of the vacuum energy. for scientific arguments of absolute 3d space, see Issac Newtons spinning buckets in space though experiment and re-interpretation of Michelson Morley experiment) Problems with this theory, why would a hammer have more inertia than a feather? jt: the force is additive, the more mass, the more inertia. space time warp that is felt equally by all matter, even by photons, photons follow the warp, though a photo has (almost no or no?) inertia [i would think almost no...]. ... the vacuum energy gravity which can then accelerate the real mass and photons to the current location in 3d space of the mass or particle or photon (stationary or moving in a straight line makes almost no measurable difference). [contributor: actually, vacuum energy produces *anti*-gravity.] )

In this field of vacuum energy, quantum fluctuations create vast quantities of briefly existing virtual particles of matter and anti-matter. These virtual particles would briefly form and annihilate, as they do today in the post big-bang vacuum energy of space. But not all the virtual particles would return to the vacuum energy, in a predictable percentage of these fluctuations, the anti-matter particle flips, the particle becomes a matter particle.
(see article Flipping particle could explain missing antimatter)
(bf: Huh??? How is this supposed to happen? That would violate charge conservation (if you are talking e. g. about an electron-positron pair becoming an electron-electron pair) or other conservation laws (if you are talking about other particles). So please present evidence that this can happen.)
(bf: Please present evidence that such matter creation can happen. )

When a virtual matter/anti-matter pair becomes a matter matter pair, the virtual particles are no longer able to mutually annihilate and they become real, stealing energy from the vacuum energy of space. This is the mechanism of slow matter creation in the first phase of the pre-big bang universe. Over perhaps a billion billion years, clouds of matter form over the entire universe, and eventually coalesce into cosmological bodies and eventually the first pre-big bang black hole, which starts the second phase of the pre-big bang universe, fast accretion of matter from vacuum energy by black holes.
(some raw estimation of time frames for the slow growth first phase that fills the universe with particles of matter. evidence of this includes the consistency of temperature of ancient space, background radiation and existence of cosmological bodies nearly as old as the big bang itself http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/2765. 2008 ... Max-Plank-Institut fur Astrophysik: The results indicate that on average, "low mass" black holes of less than a hundred million solar masses are still growing at a significant rate. http://www.mpa-garching.mpg.de/mpa/research/current_research/hl2004-7/hl2004-7-en.html)
Dark days ahead, Jun 7, 2008"...born 13.7 billion years ago in the Big Bang. By weight it is four per cent atoms and 22 per cent so-called dark matter of unknown identity. That leaves 74 per cent for the weight of whatever began causing the cosmos to accelerate about five billion years ago."

A massive black hole now grows in the center of the universe, feeding on vacuum energy perhaps a billion times faster than matter creation in the first pre-big bang phase. A black hole with a density of pure quarks, a million million times greater than atoms, endlessly consuming the vacuum energy, and over billions of years the mass continues to grow until eventually the mass becomes so great, that not even pure quarks could support the weight, and the mass collapses into the constituent component of quarks, pure vibrating strings of energy, millions of times more dense than the quarks, and the process continues over many billions of years more, until eventually the mass becomes so large that not even the lowest level of the exponentially more dense constituent shell layers of matter can any longer support the weight.
(Some estimation of times, and it could be possible that a collision between a secondary massive black hole with the super massive primary black hole might trigger the explosion, though I don't think this should be required, as passing the mass threshold should be sufficient to cause the explosion I think. Indications of possible black hole growth from vacuum energy may be found in observations of Sagittarius A*, a 1,300 solar mass black hole in a field of only 7 stars.)
5
Finally the lowest level string bomb explodes. A string(x) bomb a million times more powerful than a string (x-1) bomb, …, a million times more powerful than quark bomb (super nova), which is a million times more powerful than an atom/nuclear bomb, which is a million times more powerful than a chemical/molecular bomb. The force is equal to all the mass in this string hole converted to energy using professor Einstein’s famous formula, e=mc2…. This explosion is the big bang.
(some estimation on the math and time and speculation on the constituent components of quarks and the number of shell layers deep. calculations should be possible based on estimations of mass growth patterns in post big bang universe)
(bj: Please present evidence that black holes can explode when they become "too massive". (hint: Hawking says the opposite)

From this point the story is better known and can be cosmologically observed. The same engine that created both slow and fast matter prior to the big bang is still active today, still converting vacuum energy to matter causing a measurable accelerating expansion of the universe.
(assumed is that the universe is rotating as evidenced by the recently observed disc rather than spherical shape and rotational alignment of the universe [axis of evil] and because added mass to a rotating universe would accelerate expansion. acceleration of the universe is believed to have begun at approximately half of the time between the big bang and today. This may be explained as the point when fast matter accretion began on a large scale from black holes in our present day universe. Also assumed is that micro black hole creation would be extremely difficult, requiring very precise collisions of equal mass, velocity and direction to perfectly focus all energy to a single point. same mass, same velocity, same head-on vector and exact center of mass head-on impact. Possibly something extremely rare in nature, but likely in some percentage of collisions in a head-on particle accelerator.)
(bf: If vacuum energy would be converted to matter, that would *decelerate* the expansion, not accelerate it! jt: two possible ways i can think of, universe could accelerate, one as matter moves away from center of vacuum energy gravity and possibly into less dense areas of vacuum energy, two if the universe itself is rotating. possible additional if quantum fluctuations create photons in large amounts and if vacuum energy accelerates photons possibly by acting as a repulsive force with respect to photons, but almost certainly an attractive force with respect to matter)
And this is the "true story" (do you have a more plausible theory?) of creation according to JTankers :)
